Hotel credit cards often come with mega welcome bonuses, free night stays, elite status, room upgrades and more, so understandably, these cards are reserved for those with good credit scores. If you have a good or better credit rating (usually a score of 670 or higher), you have a good chance for approval. If your rating is fair or below (under 670), you should hold off on applying until you can bring up your score.
