Points With A Crew Top Credit Card Offers From Our Partners

Our credit card articles, reviews and ratings maintain strict editorial integrity; however we may be compensated when you click on or are approved for offers from our partners. How we make money.

By Dan Miller, founder of Points with a Crew

I have often said that one of the best ways to get a lot of miles and points is signup bonuses on new credit cards. If you're responsible with your spending and organized, it's possible to get millions of airline miles through credit card signup bonuses.

As always, you should not sign up for a credit card just because some guy on the Internet said to.

Having said that, if you would like to support Points With a Crew by signing up for a new credit card, most cards are available from one of the below links. I may receive a commission if you’re approved for a card through the links below.

Ink Business Cash℠ Credit Card

Ink Business Cash℠ Credit Card

This small business card offers Ultimate Rewards® points in a number of common business purchase categories at a rate of 5 Ultimate Rewards® points per $1 spent (that's 5 percent cash back, essentially) – earn five Ultimate Rewards® per $1 on the first $25,000 spent annually in combined purchases at office supply stores, as well as on cellular, landline, internet and cable television services; earn two Ultimate Rewards® points per $1 on the first $25,000 spent at gas stations and restaurants; and earn one point per $1 on all your other purchases. Those ongoing rewards are on top of the welcome bonus opportunity of 50,000 Ultimate Rewards® points after spending $3,000 in the first three months. Chase Ultimate Rewards® points are quite valuable and if you have a premium Chase card as well, the best value for your Ultimate Rewards® points is to transfer them to a number of hotel and airline loyalty programs.

Citi ThankYou® Premier Card

Citi ThankYou® Premier Card

The 50,000 ThankYou® points you can earn as a welcome offer are worth at least $625 in travel since your points are worth 25 percent more when you redeem them through the ThankYou® Travel Center (Citi is a CardRatings advertiser). But the real value is the ability to transfer those ThankYou® points to 10-plus airline and hotel travel partners. That means the three points you earn per $1 spent on travel (including gas purchases!), two points per $1 on dining out and entertainment and one point per $1 on all your other purchases could turn into reward flights and vacations even more quickly. Earn those 50,000 bonus points by spending $4,000 within first three months as a cardholder.

Hotel Rewards Credit Cards

Many travel cards are targeted for hotel chains, offering bonus points, free nights or both. My favorite hotel card is the IHG® Rewards Club Select Credit Card (this card is not currently available on CardRatings), which gives a free night at ANY IHG hotel (can you say over-water bungalow?!) each year in exchange for the modest annual fee ($0 intro for the first year, then $49).

IHG® Rewards Club Select Credit Card

This card is one of the no-brainer cards – in exchange for paying the annual fee ($0 intro for the first year, then $49), you get a free night at ANY IHG property worldwide (yes, including over-water bungalows in Bora Bora!). The signup bonus of 60,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 in the first three months is nice as well. If you have a spouse or partner, I recommend both of you getting the card at around the same time.
