Capital One® VentureOne® Rewards Credit Card

The no-fee little sister to the Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card above. Get 20,000 bonus miles, equal to $200 in travel, after spending $1k in three months. No annual Fee. No foreign transaction fee. Your miles can be redeemed as cash back in the form of statement credits for travel expenses. That means that if you charge air, bus, taxi or hotel expenses to this card you can submit a request for those expenses to be credited back to your account. Plus, you can transfer your miles to more than a dozen leading travel loyalty programs. Each dollar you spend is worth 1.25 miles. However, when you book through Hotels.com/Venture with your card, you'll earn 10 miles per $1 spent. That's in addition to the Hotels.com rewards program through which you earn a free night for every 10 nights stayed. 


Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card

As mentioned in the Featured Card spot above, you can earn 50,000 miles, equal to $500 in travel after spending $3k in three months. The annual fee is reasonable at $0 intro for first year; $95 after that and you won't pay foreign transaction fees. Redeem your miles directly to book travel or erase travel purchases you've already made and request a refund for travel you've booked on using your card. That means that if you charge air, bus, taxi, hotel or other eligible travel expenses to this card, you can submit a request for those expenses to be credited back to your account.

Wells Fargo Propel American Express® Card

This card has returned with some impressive new features and a healthy bonus opportunity to get things started. Earn 30,000 bonus points after you spend $3,000 in the first three months (worth $300 in cash redemption value). Save money with an introductory 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for 12 months (then, 16.24%-28.24% Variable). Note that balance transfer fees apply and transfers made within 120 days qualify.

You’ll earn three times the points in three categories: eating out and ordering in; travel, including airfare, hotels, homestays and car rentals; and on your gas station, rideshare and transit purchases. That’s an excellent earning rate on a card with no annual fee.

This is a Wells Fargo card that offers you up to $600 in cell phone protection when you pay your monthly cellular bill on your card.


The Platinum Card® from American Express

The current bonus offer is higher than we’re used to seeing on this card, so it’s a great time to apply if you’ve been looking for a general travel rewards credit card. Plus, ThankYou® points are transferable to a number of airline loyalty programs or redeem your points through the ThankYou® Travel Center and they’re worth 25% more.


Citi Rewards+ Card

As the only credit card that automatically rounds up to the nearest 10 points on every purchase with no cap, this card is a great way to earn rewards fast. Earn two ThankYou® Points at supermarkets and gas stations for the first $6,000 you spend with the card in those categories each year, and then one point beyond that, as well as on every other purchase you make. Because of the point roundup, a $2 coffee would earn 10 points, a $26 dinner 30, etc.

Earn 15,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 with the card within the first three months of opening an account, which is worth $150 in gift cards at thankyou.com.

There is a no annual fee, and as an added bonus, you’ll get 10% of your points back for the first 100,000 ThankYou® Points you redeem per year. For example, if you redeem 50,000 points, you’ll get 5,000 points back.

Capital One® Savor® Cash Rewards Credit Card

With this card you’ll earn 4% back on your dining and entertainment purchases (if eating at fancy-pants restaurants is your thing), 2% back at grocery stores and 1% back on everything else. Plus, receive a monthly statement credit for a Postmates Unlimited monthly membership through December, 2019 with the Capital One® Savor® Cash Rewards Credit Card. The annual fee is $0 intro for first year; $95 after that and you won’t be charged foreign transaction fees, so feel free to take your food hobby global.

Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa® Card

Capital One® Quicksilver® Cash Rewards Credit Card

No annual fee.

If you’re looking for a good card to take abroad, this one fits the bill as you won’t be charged foreign transaction fees, but you will receive travel accident protection against covered incidents as well as rental car collision coverage. Not bad perks at all for a card that doesn’t charge an annual fee.

NO ANNUAL FEE, STILL REWARDING:

If you’re someone with average, fair, limited credit who is looking for a rewards card, you could consider the Capital One® QuicksilverOne® Cash Rewards Credit Card, which charges a $39 annual fee but still offers 1.5% cash back on every purchase.

U.S. Bank Cash+™ Visa Signature® Card

A unique no-annual-fee card that allows users to select two categories from a list of several each quarter in which they’ll earn 5% cash back on the first $2,000 in combined spending in those categories. Earn 2% back in an "everyday" choice category such as gas or at grocery stores and earn 1% back on everything else.

Receive a $150 cash-back bonus after you spend $500 on purchases within the first 90 days.

 


Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express

Earn $250 after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first three months as a cardholder. Terms apply.

If you're looking for a no-annual-fee situation, you may prefer to get the Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express, which offers 3% cash back at U.S. supermarkets (up to $6k spent annually, then 1%; 2% back at U.S. gas stations and select U.S. department stores; and 1% on your other purchases). HSBC Cash Rewards Mastercard® credit card

This card is free to hold with no annual fee. New cardholders earn 3% cash back on the first $10,000 in purchases during your first year as a cardholder, then earn an unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase. Groceries, gas, travel... you name it, on an ongoing basis it all earns 1.5% Terms apply.

Earn 3% cash back on up to $10,000 in purchases in your first year as a card member, then 1.5% cash back on everything. Additionally, you can further rack up rewards with a 10% loyalty bonus awarded each year after your account anniversary. That means you’ll receive a 10% bonus on all the rewards you earned during the prior year. For example, earn $600 in cash rewards your first year as a cardholder and you’ll walk away with an additional $60 thanks to that loyalty bonus.


Citi® Double Cash Card - 18 month BT offer

Here’s a fun fact: this card earns you cash back not once, but twice! With the Citi® Double Cash Card - 18 month BT offer you’ll earn 1% cash back when you buy, plus 1% cash back as you pay for those purchases (you must make at least the minimum payment on time to earn cash back). And the best part of all is that you’ll earn unlimited cash back on every purchase made – and there’s no annual fee.

There’s also an introductory offer of 0% APR for 18 months on balance transfers; after that the variable APR will be 15.74% - 25.74%* Variable, based on your creditworthiness. Be aware though that there is a balance transfer fee of 3% of each balance transfer; $5 minimum.


American Express Cash Magnet® Card

This is a flat-rate cash-back card that allows users to earn 1.5% cash back on every purchase without caps or categories to think about. Terms apply.

Fidelity® Rewards Visa Signature® Card

Helping you to simplify saving for retirement, this card allows you to deposit your cash-back rewards directly into Fidelity 401k or other investment accounts. It earns unlimited 2% back on every purchase made, so with regular use, your savings could really add up fast.

Experts recommend that you devote no less than 3% of each paycheck to retirement savings, so this 2% addition could be a nice bonus towards your retirement funds; say you spend an average of $40,000 with your card annually, you’re looking at an additional $800 being funneled into your retirement savings each year – just for using your credit card to take care of everyday purchases like gas and groceries.

Points can also be redeemed for air travel, gift certificates, cash, hotels and car rentals.


Rewards Credit Cards for Small Business

Capital One® Spark® Cash for Business

Bonus: Earn a one-time $500 cash bonus when you spend $4,500 on your new card in the first three months. 

Mustachians know that starting a business doesn’t have to cost much money; but if you were able to group some business expenses together, you may be able to meet this minimum spend.

Annual Fee: $0 intro for first year; $95 after that.

Beyond the welcome bonus, you’ll earn an unlimited 2% cash back on every purchase you make on the card, no matter the purchase category or amount you spend. Put all your business purchases on the card and watch the cash back roll in.


Capital One® Spark® Cash Select for Business

Bonus: Rake in $200 cash back after spending $3,000 in the first three months and take advantage of an introductory nine months no interest on purchases (then, a 15.24% - 23.24% (Variable) APR after that). Like its big brother, the Capital One® Spark® Cash for Business, this card offers a flat earning rate and a nice welcome offer. Both are just slightly lower than with the other Spark card, but this card comes with no annual fee.

You’ll earn an ongoing and unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase.


Capital One® Spark® Miles for Business

If you like to travel but most of your business spending is non-travel related, this is a great option for you! Earn 2 miles for every $1 spent on with no category limitations. No spending caps.

Bonus: Earn 50,000 bonus miles after you spend $4,500 on your new card within the first three months.

Annual fee: $0 intro for first year; $95 after that

Use the Purchase Eraser to erase any travel bookings at a rate of .01 cents/mile. Pay no foreign transaction fees.


Capital One® Spark® Miles Select for Business

If you want the travel rewards without the annual fee, Capital One® Spark® Miles Select for Business is worth considering. As a welcome bonus, receive 20,000 bonus miles after spending $3,000 on your card within the first three months of your account being open. You can also save money with an intro 0% interest period on purchases for the first nine months (then, 15.24% - 23.24% (Variable)).

Annual fee: $0 annual fee.

The welcome bonus and ongoing rewards are a bit lower with this card than with the regular Capital One® Spark® Miles for Business card, but the trade-off is that you won’t be paying an annual fee. Once again, this card charges no foreign transaction fees, so feel free to take it along when traveling abroad.


The Business Platinum® Card from American Express

If your business is currently in a high-spend situation this could be the card for you. Earn up to 75,000 Membership Rewards® points. Earn 50,000 points after spending $10,000 and earn the next 25,000 points after spending another $10,000 all within the first three months of card membership. These kinds of points don’t come cheap, though – the annual fee for this card is $595, but the various perks and features, along with the rewards earning, could go a long way to offsetting that. Terms apply.

Enjoy complimentary airport lounge around the world through The American Express Global Lounge CollectionSM and rake in 5 times the points for flights and prepaid hotels booked via AmexTravel.com, 1.5 points per $1 on purchases of $5,000 or more (up to 1 million additional points each year), and one point per $1 on your other purchases. Redeem your points for a first or business-class flight on any airline through AmexTravel.com and receive 35% of your points back for a future redemption; redeem points for any class ticket with a pre-selected airline and receive that 35% rebate (up to 500,000 points per year). American Express® Business Gold Card

Earn 35,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 in the first three months on your card. Annual fee: $295. Terms apply.

It offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to earning rewards. For instance, there is an airline bonus where you get 25% points back after you use points for all or part of an eligible flight booked with Amex Travel, up to 250,000 points back per calendar year. It's rare that a card lets you choose where you'll earn that most points/rewards, so take note of this card. Terms apply.


The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card

Welcome offer: Earn 125,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after your spend $3,000 on the card in the first three months. Terms apply.

Annual fee is $95Terms apply.

In addition to the rewards you’ll earn on your Hilton stays as well as on your business and travel purchases (among other purchases), you can also earn two weekend night stays per calendar year. Earn your first night after spending $15,000 and earn another night by spending an additional $45,000 in the same calendar year. You’ll also receive 10 complimentary airport lounge visits each calendar year after a one-time signup for Priority Pass™ Select. Terms apply.


Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card

This card offers a nice 75,000 point bonus, earned once spending $3,000 within the first three months of opening an account. Additionally, users earn six points for every $1 spent at over 6,700 participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels; four points per $1 at U.S. restaurants, U.S. gas stations, on wireless telephone services purchased directly from U.S. service providers and on U.S. purchases for shipping; and two points per $1 on all other eligible purchases. Terms apply.

There's an annual fee of $125, but this cost is easily offset with the Free Night Award (valued up to 35,000 points) that’s awarded each year after your account anniversary. Plus, earn an additional Free Night Award after you spend $60,000 in purchases on your card in a calendar year. Terms apply.


Gold Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card from American Express

Earn 30,000 bonus miles after you make $1,000 in purchases within the first three months and earn a $50 statement credit after making a Delta purchase in the same time frame. Terms apply.

$0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $95. Terms apply

Take advantage of perks such as a free checked bag for you and up to eight companions traveling on the same itinerary. That perk alone could quickly offset the annual fee after your first year. You'll also enjoy priority boarding and discounts on in-flight purchases as well as earning bonus rewards for your Delta purchases. Terms apply.


Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card from American Express

Earn 35,000 bonus miles and 5,000 Medallion® Qualification Miles (MQMs) after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first three months, plus a $100 statement credit after you make a Delta purchase with your new card in the first three months. Terms apply.

Annual fee of $195.

The primary cardholders, as well as a limited number of companions traveling on the same itinerary, can check their first bag for free on Delta flights. Also, you'll receive a round-trip main cabin companion ticket each year after your account renewal. Terms apply.


Delta Reserve for Business Credit Card

This elite business card is for the truly Delta loyal business travelers.

The $450 annual fee gets you access to Delta Sky Club® lounges around the globe and you’ll offset that fee to a large degree with the round-trip companion certificate you receive each year after your account anniversary. Terms apply.

Earn 40,000 bonus miles and 10,000 Medallion® Qualification Miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first three months. Plus, thanks to "Miles Boost," you can earn bonus miles and bonus MQMs each year as you reach specific spending thresholds. Terms apply.


CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Mastercard®

Earn 60,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first three months of card membership. It's a decent time to apply if that fits into your plans, though we have a seen a higher bonus offered in the past.

Annual fee: $99, waived for first 12 months*

You and up to four traveling companions can check the first bag for free on domestic itineraries. You will also receive a 25% discount on your in-flight WiFi purchases when you use your card. Reward flights are available for as little as 7,500 miles so the intro bonus alone could be enough for multiple round-trip tickets.


Balance Transfer/0% Offer Credit Cards

Wells Fargo Platinum Visa card

(This card is not currently available on CardRatings)

This is a great card to use to help you pay off your hair-on-fire credit-card-debt emergency. Take advantage of an introductory 0% APR for 18 months on both purchases and balance transfers with this card (then, 13.74%-27.24% Variable). Balance transfer fee applies and transfers made within 120 days qualify.

Annual fee: $0

Though this card is designed primarily as a balance transfer card, it does still feature Wells Fargo’s cellular phone protection perk. That is, if you pay your monthly cellular bill on the card, you’ll be protected against covered damage and theft to the phone (subject to a $25 deductible).


Citi Simplicity® Card - No Late Fees Ever

Thanks to an intro 0% APR on purchases for 12 months from date of account opening and a lengthy 21 months for balance transfers (from the date of the first transfer – all transfers must be completed in four months), this card is ideal for anyone looking to consolidate and get rid of existing debt without incurring high interest, or for a person planning to make a big purchase and who needs some extra time to pay it off. Regular APR of 16.99% - 26.99%* Variable applies after the introductory periods expire.

Using this card doesn’t earn traditional rewards like miles or points, however as the name states, there are no late fees, no penalty rates, and no annual fees, which when combined with the 0% APR offers, are pretty good rewards in and of themselves.


Citi® Double Cash Card - 18 month BT offer

You won’t pay an annual fee or foreign transaction fees, so you could take advantage of the intro purchase period to travel abroad and spend some time paying off your purchases made during the trip. Terms apply.

Barclaycard Ring® Mastercard®

(This card is not currently available on CardRatings)

This no-annual-fee card offers a solid intro no-interest on balance transfers for the first 15 months (transfers must be made within the first 45 days to qualify). Even after the intro period ends your APR goes to 14.24% Variable, which is lower than the ongoing rate of many cards these days, so this is a useful card if you anticipate needing to carry a balance beyond the intro period.

Plus, if you decide to make a balance transfer after the first 45 days, you won’t be charged a balance transfer fee for that transfer. 


Rewards Credit Cards For Hotels

Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card

This card is offering 130,000 bonus points as a welcome offer. Earn it by spending $4,000 in the first four months. Plus, you'll earn a weekend night reward stay each calendar year you spend at least $15,000 on your card. Terms apply.

This is a solid hotel-branded card to keep in rotation for even your everyday purchases since you’ll earn six points per $1 spent at U.S. restaurants, U.S. supermarkets and U.S. gas stations and three points per $1 everywhere else. Hilton Honors American Express Card

This is the rare no-annual-fee hotel rewards card and it’s a good one.

Earn seven points per $1 spent directly with Hilton hotels and resorts; earn five points per $1 at U.S. supermarkets, U.S. gas stations and U.S. restaurants; and earn one point per $1 on everything else. Terms apply.

It’s somewhat unusual for a branded card to offer bonus rewards outside of spending with that specific brand, but this card does just that. Plus, you can earn 90,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 on your new card in the first three months. Terms apply.

 


The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card

Welcome offer: Earn 125,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after your spend $3,000 on the card in the first three months. Terms apply.

In addition to the rewards you’ll earn on your Hilton stays as well as on your business and travel purchases (among other purchases), you can also earn two weekend night stays per calendar year. Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card

This card offers a nice 75,000 point bonus, earned once spending $3,000 within the first three months of opening an account. Additionally, users earn six points for every $1 spent at over 6,700 participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels; four points per $1 at U.S. restaurants, U.S. gas stations, on wireless telephone services purchased directly from U.S. service providers and on U.S. purchases for shipping; and two points per $1 on all other eligible purchases. Terms apply.

There's an annual fee of $125, but this cost is easily offset with the Free Night Award (valued up to 35,000 points) that’s awarded each year after your account anniversary. Plus, earn an additional Free Night Award after you spend $60,000 in purchases on your card in a calendar year. Terms apply.

Earn 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after you spend $2,500 in the first three months with your card. There is a nice bonus on this card, so it could be a good time to apply. Earn two AAdvantage® miles for every $1 spent at gas stations, restaurants and on eligible American Airlines purchases. Also earn a $125 American Airlines Flight Discount after you spend $20,000 or more in purchases during your card membership year and renew your card.

There are no foreign transaction fees and your first checked bag is free on domestic American Airlines itineraries for you and up to four companions traveling with you on the same reservation. Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard®

You and up to four traveling companions can check the first bag for free on domestic itineraries. You will also receive a 25% discount on your in-flight WiFi purchases when you use your card. Reward flights are available for as little as 7,500 miles so the intro bonus alone could be enough for multiple round-trip tickets.


Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express

Branded cards that offer you more than one mile per $1 spent on anything outside of the brand are great options for people who do appreciate the discounted/free flight from time to time, but don't really fly enough to rack up miles on purchases with the airline along.

Delta Reserve for Business Credit Card

This elite business card is for the truly Delta loyal business travelers.

The $450 annual fee gets you access to Delta Sky Club® lounges around the globe and you’ll offset that fee to a large degree with the round-trip companion certificate you receive each year after your account anniversary. Terms apply.
