American Express Adds Free US Airways Club Access for Platinum and Centurion Cardmembers
Airline passengers holding a Platinum Card or a Centurion Card from American Express can now enjoy expanded hospitality in thirteen more cities, thanks to a new partnership between the credit card issuer and US Airways. Officials from both companies announced an expansion of American Express' Airport Club Access Program to seventeen US Airways Club locations. Under the agreement, qualifying Cardmembers can enjoy full access to US Airways Clubs even when flying on a competing airline.

The American Express Airport Club Access Program includes club admission for Cardmembers and their families or up to two travel companions. In addition to US Airways Clubs, participating locations also include Delta Sky Clubs, American Airlines Admirals Clubs, and Continental Airlines Presidents Clubs. Most participating airport clubs feature amenities such as free wireless internet access, complimentary beverages, business workstations, and meeting facilities. Airport club membership fees can often cost hundreds of dollars per year, making this perk even more valuable for occasional flyers.
