The Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card and Ink Business Cash℠ Credit Card are two popular Chase business credit cards both falling in the "Ink" family. Both also carry a "Best Business Credit Card" winner title, but which is the better card?

In short, they are both solid choices. Deciding which is the better option really comes down to your business' spending habits, whether or not you can justify an annual fee, and how you like to spend your rewards.

One card has a welcome bonus in the form of cash, one in the form of points. One has an annual fee, one doesn't. One earns more rewards on travel, one doesn't. One charges foreign transactions, and one doesn't. Etc. Although, there are a lot of similarities too, such as purchase, price, return and extended warranty protection plans; auto rental collision damage insurance; and employee cards at no additional costs.

Like we already said, both are good options for business owners, but deciding which is best for your business comes down to how exactly you plan to use your card.

Rewards
Earn three points per $1 on the first $150,000 spent on travel and select business categories each account anniversary year. Earn one point per $1 on all other purchases - with no limit to the amount you can earn.
Earn 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services each account anniversary year. Earn 2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year. Earn 1% cash back on all other card purchases with no limit to the amount you can earn.
Redeeming Rewards

Points can be exchanged for cash transfers, gift cards or, for 25% more value, redeemed for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards®. For example, 80,000 points are worth $1,000 towards travel when redeemed through Chase Ultimate Rewards® compared to $800 when redeemed for cash.

Once you earn 2,000 points you can redeem those points for a statement credit or an electronic deposit to your checking or savings account. Points can also be redeemed for gift cards and travel, but for those redemptions each point is worth a penny, so you have to earn 100 points to receive $1 in redemption value.
