Wells Fargo ReflectSM CardJust when you thought there was nothing new to be found in the credit card marketplace, Wells Fargo has introduced the Wells Fargo Reflect℠ Card (This card is not currently available on CardRatings). The card, which has no annual fee , debuted in October 2021 and comes with some unique features just in time to brighten the season for holiday shoppers.

Wells Fargo Reflect℠ Card's unique intro APR offer

There's nothing that puts a damper on holiday shopping like getting hit with a steady stream of fees and high-interest payments all for the convenience and security of using a credit card. Enter the Wells Fargo Reflect℠ Card. Not only does it not charge an annual fee , it offers an 0% introductory APR for the first 18 months from account opening for both purchases and qualifying balance transfers made within 120 days (the ongoing rate is a 12.99%-24.99% Variable APR). That introductory period means you can take advantage of some extra time to pay off your holiday shopping (or other purchases or existing balance on another card, for that matter) without paying interest.

And, while 18 months is an excellent 0% intro APR period, it could be even longer – up to 21 months, to be exact.

Wells Fargo ReflectSM gives cardholders the chance to earn up to three additional months of 0% intro APR during the introductory period, and you do it by simply being responsible with your credit card payments. All you have to do is make at least the minimum required payments on time each month during the intro period and the extension period (payments are due within 25 days of the date the monthly statement is issued). Here's a tip: set up automatic payments twice per month so you never miss a payment.

There is an introductory balance transfer fee of 3% for 120 days from account opening, then up to 5%; min: $5, but that is a standard charge when it comes to balance transfers, and there's a good chance you'll still save money when you consider what you would pay in interest without transferring the balance.

How to earn cash back statement credits with your ReflectSM Card

Wells Fargo Reflect℠ Card

The Wells Fargo Reflect℠ Card doesn't fall into the category of a rewards card, but that doesn't mean you can't earn cash back (in the form of statement credits) when you use it.

Wells Fargo ReflectSM cardholders are automatically eligible to take advantage of the My Wells Fargo Deals program launched in 2020. The program is simple to use and can generate some meaningful cash back statement credits. Cardholders can log in via the Wells Fargo app or your computer to browse multiple cash-back deals offered by merchants partnering with Wells Fargo. Some are online merchants, others are "brick and mortar" merchants in your area.

Some of the deals offer a certain percentage cash back on your purchase, while others offer a set cash-back amount when you shop with that retailer. All you have to do is "click" to activate the deals that interest you and when you make a purchase that meets the requirements of the deal with that merchant, the cash back earned will automatically apply to your account statement.

The deals offered on My Wells Fargo Deals are updated frequently, meaning you'll want to check back each day to see what's new. Perhaps you'll even find a way to earn some statement credit while doing your holiday shopping.

Protect your cellular phone with Wells Fargo ReflectSM Card's included coverage

Your personal life, and maybe even your business, is on your phone. Wells Fargo understands how important your phone is and wants to help you protect it by offering cellular phone protection to ReflectSM cardholders. Just pay your monthly cellular phone bill using your Wells Fargo Reflect℠ Card, and you are eligible for up to $600 in coverage (subject to $25 deductible) and up to two paid claims per 12-month period, to guard against covered damage or theft. Terms and deductible apply.

Who should consider the Wells Fargo Reflect℠ Card

When it comes to introductory APR offers, the longer the better. Eighteen months is already generous, but the Wells Fargo Reflect℠ Card goes a step further, offering up to 21 months. Even better, the extension incentivizes you to responsibly pay your bills on time, which both your wallet and your credit score will appreciate.

Additionally, there isn't an annual fee to worry about and, in a rather unusual move for a card with such an impressive intro APR offer, there's even an opportunity to earn statement credit through the My Wells Fargo Deals program.

If you're looking ahead to the holidays or maybe some inside home improvement or redecorating projects during the winter ahead, the ReflectSM card could certainly be a welcome addition to your wallet.
