A prominent retail brand hopes to shine again with help from a private label credit card offering, according to company officials. Jewelry retailer Bailey Banks & Biddle relaunched in late 2010, helmed by some of the executives that managed the brand when it was part of larger conglomerates in recent decades.

Thanks to a partnership with TD Bank's private label credit card program, the venerable luxury retail brand will once again appear in the wallets of American consumers. TD Bank will offer a Bailey Banks & Biddle credit card under its "L.J.C." (Luxury, Jewelry, Class) portfolio of retail lending services.

Retail jewelers often rely on special financing deals to help convince buyers to indulge in a slightly larger diamond than they originally planned for. Managers at all five Bailey Banks & Biddle locations intend to combine easy financing with state of the art technology to help customers understand the value of fine diamond jewelry.
