I just got an invite for that platinum card and based on my socres (not sure what they are but I know I filed BK five yrs ago and have several hard hits due to a move although paid as agreed on all accounts since) I was approved. Maybe it was because I had a Providian in good standing years ago.
Not complaining with 0% on BTs for a year and a better interest rate than Chase or the Citi I was declined for. Thats the only thing I will use it for. I know that without the invite, you have to go into a branch because I found no way to apply online otherwise.

I know this makes no sense but BTW just got my WaMu card and it is the most interesting card I've ever seen. Completely transparent. Makes you want to use it just to see other peoples reactions Not til I pay off my BT's though.

Actually I just got approved for the Wamu card with limit of $ 4500. I have a very limited history. Just starting. This was the first card I applied for. I agree the card looks cool. 0% APR on purchase till July 2007.
