I was wondering how long it usually takes for Chase to approve a "pre-approved" offer. I responded to an offer by going to the web address given and filling out the application. I was informed that I would receive written word of their decision in 30 days. I called the # given on the offer statement and received the same message after choosing the "check application status" option. My question is: Does this most likely mean that I was denied? I know my scores are in the 670-700 range. Also, I just received an alert from equifax that there was an inquiry posted to my file. I assumed that it would be Chase, but it was First USA Bank. I did opt for the "first protect" program when filling out the application; could this inquiry be associated with that? or should I contact Equifax (as I have not applied for any First USA Bank credit cards). Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

I applied for Chase flexible rewards visa signature. Didn't get an instant approval online but the application got approved the following day I think. I called the same 800# and checked the status. It only indicated that I should be receiving my card within 7-10 days. However, I was away for almost 3 weeks and when I came back home, the card was in my mailbox with $17,600 revolving limit so I don't really know exactly how long it takes to receive the card.
