Fir year I have been getting offers from Chase offereing 0% on B"t for 6-12 months or 3.9% for the life of the balance. Today it seems to have changed to .99% for six months or 6.995 for the life of the balance.

Are others seeing similar changes in offers?

I get the same thing. Every month they extend the offer and send new ones. My .99 is good to April. The 5.99 is fixed until paid. But as we know there is no max . At least for me. They wanted to put 35K into my checking account. (even though the access line is 50.5K) They said that's the highest they are allowed. I told them to do the math 3% at 35k= $1050. And that would be charged to the 8.9 APR   Not to mention using 70+% of the credit line, even though the limit isn't reported on the Freedom World

My offers are the same for the .99% for six months, but the "until paid" offers range from 4.99% to 7.99% on my Chase cards--all with the 3% uncapped fee.

The prime rate is now 4%. (5% last month, 7.5% a year ago!) None of these offers are THAT bad. Plenty of people with relatively-good credit in this country are paying more than that on their credit card debt right now and would jump at these.

I have a small balance on one card at the 3.99% that I initiated last year. Since then mostly from like Citibank, Chase, Doscover, etc. you only now see like 0% for 6 months, etc. They seem to have spiked over the last 6-9 months on their interest rates. I saw one the other day for 7.99% for the life of the balance.

Now I am seeing .99% for 9 months but the life of the balance offers seem to be either 4.99% or 5.99%.

In this environment I would not expect changes in the prime to directly affect card rates.

Currently have 12-mo 0% bt offer on my Chase account. However, they've soured the deal a bit ... max fee is $249. Still, not a bad deal even with the fee -- particularly if you transfer $15K+.
