The new Citi Forward card has rewards that are better than the Citi mtvU card, and you don't need to be a college student to get it.

In addition to earning 5 ThankYou points per dollar spent at restaurants, movie theaters, book stores, music stores, and movie rental stores and 1 ThankYou point at all other venues, you get:
  • 6000 TY points after making $50 in purchases within the first 3 months
  • 5000 TY points for signing up for paperless statements within the first 3 months
  • 100 TY points per billing period if you pay on time and stay under your credit limit
  • 0.25% APR reduction for paying at least your minimum amount due and staying under your credit limit for 3 billing periods in a row
  • No annual fee
  • 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for 6 months (3% BT fee)
  • Earn up to 75,000 TY points per year

You can achieve the full 5% reward value of your TY points by redeeming them for:

  • $100 gift cards (for 10,000 TY points) at stores such as Sears, JC Penny, Macy's, Overstock.com, Bloomingdales, Dillards, LL Bean, Cabelas, etc.
  • $25 student loan credits (for 2,500 TY points)

I think this is the way credit card companies should go. This credit card is rewarding responsible behavior. I think the Citi Forward card gives consumers a great incentive to pay their bills on time.

Using credit card is not bad if you pay your bills in time.,Me I use a credit card for buying some of my stuff but like I said I pay it in time,.,

Please keep personal credit separate from business credit.
