Discover Card to Add $1 Million to Cardholder's Cash Back Reward
One lucky Discover Card holder may earn a cash back reward that's about a million dollars bigger than usual. Discover launched a new sweepstakes that rewards its customers for making everyday purchases with their Discover credit cards. Every day, the company will select 75 winners to receive Discover Gift Cards ranging in value from $25 to $500. At the end of the year, officials will randomly select the winner of a one million dollar grand prize.

Discover Financial Services officials told reporters that the contest could help make consumers and customers more aware of their card's expanded availability as a purchasing option. "We expect this sweepstakes to build an even stronger brand connection with our cardmembers, drive increased Discover card usage, and reinforce the fact that Discover card is accepted all over the country," said Discover spokesperson Julie Loeger.
