Keynote Study Highlights Most Effective Credit Card Company Websites

Keynote Systems, which provides services that improve online business performance and communications technologies, recently released a Competitive Intelligence study entitled Keynote Rankings for Credit Card Prospects. This study provides ratings of 10 credit card company's web sites in areas such as responsiveness and reliability. This unique study also offers credit card companies practices that can be implemented in order to build a satisfied and loyal customer base.

In order to show how websites perform from both an operational and business perspective and to reveal how these specific areas impact customer acquisition, the study examined the behavior and feedback of 2000 prospective credit card customers and analyzed over 6500 measurements of website performance.

The study ranks credit card company websites in areas such as overall customer experience, brand affinity, visual appeal, and the effectiveness of the application process. Following is a sampling of some of the rankings included in the study:
