I’ve only had the blue for 5 months. That’s it. Then comes this approval for gold

If there are others here who are “hot” to get a Platinum AMEX, I’d urge them to first establish credit with the company via a No Fee card like Blue Cash. Within a few months they’ll see on login that they’re pre-approved for Platinum with 25K to 50K Membership Rewards points.

Such a deal………

My friend received a pre-approved application offering 100,000 points. By the way, there is a really nice feature called event ticket protection which reimburses you for lost, damaged, stolen..etc tickets up to $2000 a year. I lost 2 tickets last month and couldn’t attend the concert only to find them a few days later, so I filed a claim and they actually gave me credit on my statement for the tickets’ value.
