I rarely ask and get CLI's the soft way. The less you look like you need it, the more likely they are to give you one.

I consider a CLI a reward for using their card
NO CLI???
They don't want (or need) my business
ANOTHER CARD I HAVE WILL LOVE TO HAVE THE BUSINESS

I have never solicited a CLI. I've gotten them automatically with a letter.
Chase is good with this. Must be the parameters in their system. They send you something every 6 months.

Sure thats the way the REST of my cards work but this one hasn't given a CLI since I've had it On time - everytime. Poor 300.00 limit on a majoR though I will admit I shouldn't have gotten it with a bk on file just knew someone. I just figured 4 yrs would count for SOMETHING. I don't even count it as a major. Its the card my kid will be taking to the beach this spring
