A new article from MSNBC states that the Aspire Visa Card is “The Worst Credit Card EVER.”
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16756280/
In summary, the 3 major complaints for this card is —
1.) They charge $150 a year for the right to extend you credit
2.) They charge $6.50 a month just to have the privilege of using their card.
3.) $29 just to open an account.
It’s a good read I found it humorous.
Any complaints about this card (whoever has this card) or knows there are bigger predators out there?

LMFAO!!! That is the most interesting article I ever read about credit cards.
My dad had an aspire credit card (I don’t know what kind though). It was his first U.S. credit card. He was initially granted $1,000 credit line. I don’t think they charged him $150 annual fee. About the other fees I can’t be sure but he never complained about them. He doesn’t use it anymore (maybe already closed it?)
His only complaint about it was that when he mailed a check payment, it sometimes took almost 2 weeks for them to credit his account.

Sounds pretty awful. However, it sounds just the same as many products that are out there for people with poor credit.
As bad as it is, many people opt for this option instead of making a deposit for a secured card.
