Why would you NOT want a high limit on a card?

The only reason I can think of to keep your CL low is if you're going to buy a house anytime soon. The mortgage company may look at your high CL and say that you have the potential to get yourself into too much debt, and then you might not be able to pay the mortgage payment. You might be denied the mortgage you want in that case.
