Why would you NOT want a high limit on a card?
You don’t understand mouse’s post. He has high limits already. He is just not willing to disclose it because people ask strange questions.
The only reason I can think of to keep your CL low is if you’re going to buy a house anytime soon. The mortgage company may look at your high CL and say that you have the potential to get yourself into too much debt, and then you might not be able to pay the mortgage payment. You might be denied the mortgage you want in that case.
…and you CAN get $100,000+ a month after closing
THEN WHAT WILL THE MORTGAGE COMPANY SAY THEN???
NOTHING

Mine in order are:
1. Household Bank Gold (2% cash back on everything) Limit $3,200
2. Chase Cash Plus (5% Gas, Supermkt, Pharmacy) Limit $2,000
3. Citi MTVU (5% restaurant, bookstr, movies) $6,400
My fav cards have superior cashback/rewards but low credit limits.
The ones I have a high credit limits have poor rewards.
As I pay in full every month and don’t do transfers, cashback/rewards is the only criteria I base my fav cards on.
