I have never solicited a CLI. I’ve gotten them automatically with a letter.
Chase is good with this. Must be the parameters in their system. They send you something every 6 months.
I asked CHASE after more than a year of using the STUFFING OUT OF THE CARD FOR A CLI…
They said I can “APPLY”
HARD WILL HAPPEN
They have been removed from my every day rotation…

Must be they know you have a line of a couple 100Ks and want make you sweat. Good for you. Don’t give them your business.

How long should you wait to ask for a CLI? How do you know if it will result in a hard?
If I wanted a CLI, I will probably wait till the 7th month if I haven’t gotten an increase by then. Usually the company will grant the first increase 6 months after account opening if you are a good customer. So wait for them to do it automatically.
