I just rec'd a "pre-approved" offer from WAMU for 0% on putchses until May 1, 2008 if you transfer a balance at application. It's a variable rate card that is currently at 8.99 %, There is no balance transfer fee with in the first 90 days of opening the account. The initial balance transfer at application has to be at least $100.
Has anyone else seen this and/or taken advantage of it ? I love the idea of 0% on purchases until May 2008.

It's not an unusual offer in my experience.
Make sure you understand the terms--your balance transfer isn't at 0%...

Yes we have taken advantage of a similar offer from WAMU (ESPN) on a balance transfer until 2008.
Just like Polonius said read the terms as only your PURCHASES are 0% and not balance transfers.
Good offer until May, 2008 you have there
