All my Citi CLI's have been instant, though I've never filled out the form and tried for one.

In my experiences, initial CLIs are a 6 month wait. After that it can be as little as 1 month between CLIs using their button.

I requested a CLI right after I was approved for the card. It initially said it could take 14 days, but I received an email with a 5K increase the next day. It did pull a second credit report.

I got one automatically after 6 months (1500->3000) then used the luv button a year later for another 1000. Probably could have gotten them more frequently, just never tried.

Oh, and about an hour after I used the luv button, the increase was showing online.
