Best Hotel Credit Card?

Any comments on best hotel cards? i think I have narrowed down to hilton card and marriott card.

Also, what are the diffs between platinum and gold cards, etc. Marriot card has a "Signature" card and a "Premier Signature" card. what is the diff? credit limit?
