Post subject: MBNA and Bank of America Credit Card Merge

I called BOA to see about converting my BOA card to that new BOA Visa Signature with World Points they're offering on their homepage.
I try to avoid these kinds of calls as much as possible because the CSR's never seem to be very knowledgable of the products they're offering.
This CSR didn't give me a good feeling as it took her several minutes to find the card and I'm not absolutely certain she got the right one. I stressed several times the name of the card, where I saw it, and most importantly that I did not want a new application or a hard inquiry. I simply wanted to convert my current card to this one.
She said she'd have to send the "affidavit" to the "back office" and they'd be sending me something in the mail. I asked should I expect the card in this mail and she said she wasn't sure. She said since this Visa Signature card is a MBNA offering and the merge isn't complete, she had to put a special request in for me to receive it at this time.
I hope she knew what she was talking about and what I wanted to do. I guess I'll wait and see what I get in the mail.
In regards to my MBNA card, I have yet to get anything branded BOA for that. I might convert that into the BOA/Amex in a few months when they get up and running better.

Watch out for NO MAX BT FEE!!!

Yeah I saw that in the T&C. They mention the minimum fee but no mention of a max fee.
I doubt I'd ever do a BT through them anyway.

What is the max BT fee???
Can I just get a no fee BT???
