I’ve hit my $300 rebate limit on my Platinum Select card so it’s in the sock drawer. With the forthcoming gas/groceries/drugs reward reduction it will probably stay there.
I’m now using the Diamond Preferred card, which also gives 5% (5 points per dollar into your ThankYou account) on gas/groceries/drugs. I also use the Citi Professional card for office supply stores and restaurants. This gets 3 points per dollar into my ThankYou account.
Has anyone heard if Diamond Preferred is also cutting back from 5% to 2% on gas/groceries/drugs like the Platinum Select?
I realize points aren’t as good as cash, but I’m happy enough with $50 gift cards for gas and restaurants and whatnot for 5000 points.
