Post subject: Keeping my Chase Credit Card For Now

I saw that HSBC card also and never had heard of it....for now, I will continue with my chase card to get 5%, but I suspect that they will follow suit....I also dont spend very much....so the blue cash doesnt appeal to me....to get up to that 6500 level ....also doesnt get 5% at supercenters based on what I read....

That card is 6 points per $1 only for the first 12 months though. Gathering from what I read, this HSBC card is 5% flat cash back on gas.

Just apply for another card of the same when the first year is about to end and continue to earn 6%. You can also apply for the HSBC card as a "backup", but why earn 5% when you can get 6%? Don't be so afraid of applying for multiple cards. You are not married to the card, you know.
