Has anyone heard anything about Citi phasing out or changing (and changes are rarely good) the Citi Dividend program?
I heard some rumors, and I hope that they are not true.

There are rumors about Chase terminating the Rewards Plus card. It has been removed from their website and they are no longer signing up new accounts, but nothing has been said officially to current cardholders.
The Citi Dividend card is still on the website.
I guess, like the Discover Restaurant rewards card, the first step to extinction is being removed from the website.

We have actually been told there is now an AmEx version of the Dividend Card. Looks like they are pushing the AmEx version now.

The Citi AMEX actually has a much higher rate than the MC and they can charge higher fees to merchants. No wonder they like it!
