Was curious……….(I have this card)……….about their “NETWORK” they speak of??

Their TOS say that rewards are “UNLIMITED” when used “inside the CitiDividends netowrk”. Anybody know where to find out who the heck qualifies as “inside the network”????

I couldn’t find info on it.

One reason it’s peaked my curiosity is that I know that they have $300 max and my statement date this week shows that I just went over that amount. (My rebate *available* shows $314, so I’m wondering if I didn’t buy from within their “netowrk” to get over $300).

I was ready to sock-drawer the card ’til my anniversary date passes again (using my new Discover gas card during the interim) but if I can find out who their “network” vendors are perhaps I’ll still use it there!!!

(P.S. I clicked on “request a rebate check” and it said it couldn’t process my request & I need to call. I wonder if that, too, has anything to do with my rebate amount showing *over* the $300 mark………LOL!!)

TIA

Not cost effective to them

Lack of use by customers

THEY ADD AND DELETE CARDS FROM TIME TO TIME

Usually they try to get you MORE (sometimes they end up giving you less)

AS IN DISCOVERCARD IS 0.25% MAX AT WALMART/SAMS (never 1.00%)

Boy am I confused. Like a responsible person, I knew my account with AT&T was posted on the 10th of the month, so today, July 11, I printed my statement to verify purchases.

When I checked for the ‘rewards’ - which pay when they reach $50.00 - it said I was not enrolled in a rewards program. I started to write an e-mail them, and was informed that feature was not active and was given an 800# to call. So I did.

The nice lady informed me my account had been closed. HuH? Why? I didn’t do anything wrong … always paid before the due date … always paid a few dollars more …. ??? Well, she said, they had not been able to reach me. HuH? Oh? Was this one of the incoming phone calls with an number I didn’t know, which I chose not to answer, who didn’t leave a message? “Yes”, she said. “Must have been.” And, she said, they mailed me notices - which I didn’t receive. And, of course, the account was closed as of today. She said it was closed for ‘business reasons’ and could not explain why there was nothing on the website stating the account was closed.

Is this right? Is this legal? Who can/should I complain to except you, oh dear reader of cardratings.com? I really don’t care except I’m a bit frustrated that I wasn’t notified and the fact that the cash back was a very nice feature. Plus the fact that had I not called TODAY, I made a purchase for prescription drugs for my husband and normally would have used that card. It would have been very embarassing to have the card turned down.

Will look forward to responses to this …. jobbaker[/i]
