I have a BOA Platinum I’d like to convert to something else.

I also have a MBNA Gold(10 year old card) I’d wouldn’t mind converting but I need to be 100% sure the age will carry over to the new TL. This card is now handled by FIA Card Services.

I’d like to end up with a BOA/Amex as one of the converted cards. This card is serviced by FIA which was formed when MBNA and BOA merged. I don’t know what the plans are regarding the cards they handle.

Has anyone converted cards with BOA/MBNA lately? Can I convert a BOA product to a FIA product and visa-versa? Any tips before I call them to inquire?

Don’t expect that to happen any time soon

(able to trade cards or do a 2 into 1 and close 1)

THAT IS 6–12 MONTHS OUT

THEY HAVE TO SEND OUT MILLIONS OF MBNA CARS THAT SAY BofA ON IT FIRST

Then you have to wait like 6 months after you get that card

(GUESS)

BASED ON THE FLEET/BofA DEAL
