Phantom, do you think that you are AMEX's ONLY customer? So what if you see the pending charges the following business day? Don't you know that YOU MADE the purchase?? I have a feeling that you are the customer that nobody wants. There are other things in life that are more important than complaining about nonsense. If you are not happy with amex, then close the account and move on.

Hey now, don't put me down just because I like to have certain features on a card... if you don't like or need those features, then that's okay for you, but I am entitled to have my opinion and to like or dislike certain things. If someone else wants or needs the same features that I am posting about, then it will help them to make a decision whether or not this is the card for them. That's what this forum is about and that is the reason I am posting about it. Nothing is stopping you from skipping over this thread if you are not interested.

THEN DUMP AMEX and GO WITH MBNA
I have no idea if any other card lists "PENDING" charges since I use AMEX and CHASE for 99% of my purchases
