Money Tips: Problem with my Chase Credit Card Account

Post subject: Problem with my Chase Credit Card Account

I called chase yesterday for a milage credit for my british airways account, at the end of the conversation i asked the rep if i could get a cli without an inquiry into my credit report , the rep said…”it will NOT be a hard pull…..i was denied …today i saw they pulled an experian hard hit anyway,,What can i do …its just not right to lie to a good customer…my limit is $16500.00 and i have a balance of $309…i am very upset about this….
What you guys think?

No one lied to you. The CSR just didn’t know. Lots of them are ignorant. They try to be helpful.

As to what to do? Forget about it. It’s not important.

she and i discussed the matter in details..she assured me it would be no pull.
i now have 29 inquiries on experian the last 2 yars…i have one transunion and nine eqifax, i need a card that pulls trans in southern california, looking for a 0% bt offer..any suggestion

You may be able to dispute it with the CRA
