Providian Credit Card Approval Easy?

So Providian is pretty easy to get? Any past negative items on your credit? Do you have established credit with other cards or loans, mortgage? What did you put on your Providan application you made? Also, did you apply online on their website?

I think that if you have a decent score, you can definitely get a Providian card. I applied last year, but they denied me. Also Kay Jewelers gave $3000.

I do have a bankruptcy on there, I've been discharged for almost 3 years. I applied for the card online.

I Got Instantly Approved For The Following:

Pacific Sunwear (Pacsun)

Credit Limit: $700.00

American Eagle Outfitters

Credit Limit: $100.00

I am happy because i do a lot of shopping in these stores and both card offers rewards

I was literally just approved for a Visa in about 2 minutes through -

Up until now, most of them usually come back stating something to affect of them contacting me within 30 days. Some of them have yet to contact me at all and it's been over 30 days.

This one worked. I couldn't believe it.

If you try it, let me know. Maybe it was a fluke

Also, my credit is not what you would call "excellent." That's probably why I'm suprised it went through so fast.
