VISA Rewards Program Travel Certificates from Chase- Having Problems

Has anyone had any problems using travel certificates obtained through the Chase Ultimate Rewards credit card reward program? I ordered two Carribbean travel certificates (at a cost of 60,000 points) and they have turned out to be completely useless due to so many blackout dates in the high travel months of February, March and April. Further, even during dates that were not blackout dates (e.g., some times around Christmas), a Continental rep told me that the "Q" class seats are not made available during those times. As a result, despite trying to be very flexible on travel dates, I am not able to use these certificates. Chase's rewards program brochure says that the awards are subject to blackout dates, but I think it is fraud to have consumers exchange valuable points for these rewards that have no practical value. I was going to file a claim in small claims court, but before doing so, I wanted to see if others had a similar experience, because if so, I might consider filing a class action claim instead. Please contact me if you have had any similar experiences regarding these award travel vouchers.

Fleet send me pre approved platinum offer with 0% APR on purchases until 2004 October then 8.99% APR. But I am skeptical about their offers because their variable rate is based on LIBOR. Anyone know about Fleet? And GM send me pre approved offer. Anybody know about GM card too? But my desirable cards are Capital One No Hassle Platinum and American Express Gold cards. I am still waitng until AMEX and Capital One send their pre-approved offers. Thank you everyone.

Credit Card for College Expenses

You are not exactly who I am looking for but you might be able to help. I tried salliemae loans and it showed that I am not eligible. I however did show that I might be able to get the money for school from First National Bank in Sioux Falls and that they are awaiting approval. It has been since June 9th since I applied and I need the money before August 7th for school, what should I do? Is there a number I can call? Preferably toll free as I live in Kentucky.
