CitiDiamond 0% Balance Transfer Promotion Credit Card Review

Post subject: HD Porter -CitiDiamond 0% Life of the Balance Promo

Hey HD or anyone who can answer this question for me.

This promotion that requires two purchases after 5/1/07, to maintain a 0% for life balance, is it still possible to add more 0% balance transfers?? The reason I ask is that on the CitiDiamond site, the 0% offer still appears and says it will continue until the balance is paid in full. Are they referring to the balances already transferred?

I wrote Citi an email and asked "Hasn't the 0% balance transfer offer on my account closed as of 5/1/07? What is the current rate for balance transfers now on this account and what is the duration?"

Their response: "Our records indicate that 0.00% promotional offer for balance transfer on your account is valid til you make your payment in full, however, to better assist you, we need to speak with you directly."
???? LOL

So obviously you don't want to know what they might have to say and you prefer to remain in the dark. If it was me I'd simply pick up the phone and have a short conversation. You've already wasted more time on this thread than it would have taken to make the call. Ok, that's your choice.
