Credit Tips: Converting a General Discover Credit Card Into a Discover Platinum Credit Card

Post subject: Discover convert?

I was wondering if you can convert the general Discovercard to a platinum or any of their new versions? I’ll have to dig out my card and give them a call. I bet they’ll want me to apply for a new card and that isn’t going to happen.

They let you convert. I’ve gone from classic (or whever it was called before there was such a thing as platnium) to platnium to gas to restraunt and back to platnium.

Sweet, thanks. I’m even thinking of going for the hard pull to get a decent credit limit. I have no inquires for over a year anyways.

If it matters they’ll do smaller increases without a hard pull. The CSR will as how much and just say as much as you can without the credit inquery. Unless, of course, you don’t care if you get a hard pull.
