Closed Credit Card Compromising Credit Score

Post subject: "Lost or Stolen Card"

A couple of years ago, my bank information was compromised on eBay. Obviously, I had to close all of my existing accounts and open new ones. Now, my credit reports show one of the closed accounts by one creditor in the adverse section as "Lost or Stolen Card". I am attempting to improve my credit scores and since this is listed in the adverse section, it must surely be bringing my scores down. Can I dispute this with the credit bureau, should I contact the creditor, or is there nothing that I can really do about this.

it should be 'adverse' only if there were late payments or something else on it.

I have half-a-dozen 'lost or stolen' closed accounts, and all my credit reports say I have 0 adverse items.
