Post subject: True Credit (TransUnion)..Any Problems???

Hello Everyone;

I have question about a company named True Credit (TransUnion)?

I purchased a free Score report for 30 days (canceled) and so far no trouble yet, but I read on another site about a lot of individuals getting rip-off by this company. (they would charge people credit cards after cancellation)

So, I would like to know has anyone on here ever had trouble with this company and if so what did you do to resolve the problem.

I've used them going on 2 years without any problems.

The site is usually down on Saturday nights for maintenance, like many other financial websites.

They've never upped my monthly cost. I still pay $7.46.

My personal opinion?? TC is the best monitoring service out there if you want to follow all three credit reports, with daily updates if you wish them. You also see a summation of the hard pulls for all three CRAs.

MyFico.com is excellent in monitoring your true Fico score and costs less per month. However, you don't get daily pulls and can't see your TU or Experian reports.

Until services like True Credit begin showing subscribers all the Soft Inquiries their profiles are bombarded with daily, they remain the most mediocre crapola of crapolas out there.

The true measurre of a good credit report (beside accuracy) is one that's well detailed and shows you who's snooping and spying on you _ sometimes 3 times in a single month. With such a detailed report, you get advanced warning if some rogue collector or junk debt buyer is angeling to do you harm and render you a victim for one reason or another.

Not only that, you can also determine how valuable are you to potential creditors, and who's pulling promo softs to make you pre-approved offers. In other words, you gain insider, advanced knowledge as to which bank is seeking your business.

Moreover, if you've a list of soft inquiries, this in itself gives you free reports by mail and for the askin' for months to come (don't ask what I mean, those who know, know).

If it ain't from one of the main bureaus itself, it's a dog with fleas that suffers from a nasty case of the runs.

Now fenster already posted over a month ago a method whereby a comsumer is able to pull detailed Experian reports with softs and the works completely free and maybe for life.

If you're that paranoid, then you need to see softs all the time .My life is tooooo busy for such nonsense. The compilation of hard pulls on TrueCredit if just fine for me.

It goes without saying that one can lead “tooooo busy” a life, not be "paranoid" and still care to review softs. Dexterity doesn’t seem one of your strongest suits friend.

That you lead a busy life isn’t nearly as impressive as the miniskirt in your avatar.
