Post subject: How to improve my credit score before i buy a house?
I am planning to buy a house, but most lenders refused to give me a loan because my credit score too low, and i've had many cards with debts. Do i need to close some card? or i have to pay off before i reapply a loan. If i do that, so how long will it take to imcrease my score? Need help........

What is your current utilization ratio? How long have these accounts been open? Have you had defaults? If so, how long ago? What's your average score? How many accounts do you currently have open?
With this info, many of us can probably provide some input.

Are you married? If so your other half might be able to get the loan and later you can be added.
From what I know they will go for the lowest fico which sucks!

Actually they take the middle score. So if your scores are 620, 645, 676 then they will make their decision based on the 645 score.
