Post subject: Good Credit Card to buy a used Sportbike? - HELP
I am looking to buy a sport bike after many years of not having one to call my own. I'd prefer to not buy new because the insurance is nasty. I'm thinking that I'd purchase the bike on credit utilizing the intro 0% APR for a year then transferring the very small balance to another card if need be. Does anyone know of good card for this situation?

Yo, Disque There are so very many 0% interest offers available its more a matter of what your credit rating will support, and what color or scheme you would like see on your card.
I would recommend Citi, Chase, BOA and Amex as all have sweet offers ready to fulfill your wildest sportbike dreams at this very moment.
Assuming that you have good credit and qualify for a "Good" card product with the sweet intro rates I would think finding a good used sportbike that you really dig will be your larger challenge. I say used R-1 or GSXR but of course only you can make the final call!!!

Super!
Another rider over here too. My rides are an 2005 R6, a 2003 SV650, and a KTM 450. I love bikes so much, I never drive anymore. Yes, living in California has its benefits including being able to split lanes and ride year round.
Anyways, I used MBNA to direct deposit money to my accuount at a promotional rate of 1.99% for 12 months, walked into the dealer and wrote a check to buy the bike. You should be able to do something similar with BofA and/or Chase. Both have long-term 2.99% rates with $75-$100 capped BT fees.
Citi also has these rates, but you have to request a check and they mail it to you.
Have you tried a credit union? They usually have killer rates and can preapprove pretty quick.
Do NOT get financing through the dealer, it may be low payments now, but the interest really kicks up after the short introductory period.
Whatever you do, get a bike and start riding, it is so much fun!

You have a bunch of options available to you. Amex, Citi, Chase, BoA, etc. As Chaz mentioned, a lot rides on your CS. That will ultimately determine what you get, 6, 12 or 15 months (and the APR).
