Interesting piece, thanks.

I was alarmed at what Chase isn't willing to do, apparently it will take a vicious battle to get Chase to give up on Universal Default like Citi did.

For Chase, greed is still good, very very good.

Chase got rid of double cycle billing, that is a big first step. Than again, with most of Chase's cards being cobrand/rewards, most PIF and on time anyways so 2 cycle billing and default pricing is irrelavent. Would have been nice for Chase to follow Citi's lead though.
