Post subject: Chase Rates Are Moving On Up
In Aug 06 I was pre approved for a world card at 0 Percent until April 08 then 8.9 F afterwards, approved and using the card, a month ago I received and offer for a Chase Freedom World MC with 0% until July 08 then 9.9 F afterwards. I was approved and received the card, now, I get the same freedom world offer in the mail except, now it's only 0% until April 08, then 10.99F afterward. Each offer says it's the lowest

apr, seems like it's going up

And why does this surprise you. My rate also went up from Chase, to be honest if the cancel my card I would not loose ANY sleep over it.
I always PIF and RARELY use the card.

My husband just got rate-jacked by Chase... thank goodness I just paid it off... the change goes into effect in May... new APR 29.24% from 14%
yeah right... bite me...

Nope... I pay the bills and see all the statements. Didn't pay late and didn't go over the limit. We were running a balance on this for a few months and I was out of work so I was just paying the minimum for a few months. Back at work now and paid it off... and BLAM!!
