why is chase making me type in a stupid activation code everytime i check my account? it is really damn irritating.

Do you happen to use a bill reporting consolidator such as Yodlee? I think updates via that service are what cause me to occasionally be hit with the request to reactivate access from my computer.

This is Chase’s idea of diligent security, they did it to me too and claimed “we don’t recognise your computer”, maybe!

Nor do I think it has something to do with Yodlee, I don’t use them.

Once you enter your activation code furnished to you by email, phone call or otherwise, you should be able to go right in if you use the same browser.

I tried to use a different browser and it asked me for the code again.

Not that I don’t appreciate security, but Chase is THE most annoying CC isuuer out there, with its practices, calls, telemarketing, ratejacking, evasive answers to Congress and dubious methods of making a buck.

Listen to this, I call Chae from my several work tel#s and not my home’s, then I get this tard Indian asking me about “balidaing tome tecurity quetons” and my online accounts disappear for “deventy doo havers”. I mean a cardholdter oughta be able to call from Mars if it suits him darn it _ feck Chase.
