American Express Clear Credit Card Review

I'm looking for an American Express card, and I believe Clear would fit me best due mostly to the month long grace period and no fees. I PIF my other credit cards monthly and don't typically charge a large amount on credit so I'll be doing the same on this card. If anyone has any comments on this card, or another AmEx card I should look at, I'd appreciate the input? Thanks.

Clear looks like a nice card, if you're the kind of person who runs into those fees a good amount. I could see those $25 gift card getting annoying though, kinda stacking up in a pile.
If you plan to spend more than 10k a year on this card, some of that at grocery stores, gas stations & drug stores, I would look at Blue Cash. It's a potentially better card rewards-wise if you don't run into fees or carry a balance.

AMEX CLEAR's 1% from the get go is way better than DISCOVER 0.25%
PENFED CU has a 5.00%/1.25% card "IF" you are a member
(paid on each statement)

How much do you spend annually? If it is more than $6500, I'd consider the blue cash card instead. If you don't, I would recommend clear. I have this card and like the rewards, but blue cash pays better for me, so I use that more.

Thanks for the fast replies. I likely wouldn't be using Blue Cash enough to take full advantage of it's rebates though. My main appeal to Clear is it's long grace period since I don't carry a balance. More time to pay in full certainly can't be bad.
Sounds like Clear is the way to go for me, and I'll probably look into Blue Cash down the road some day. Thanks again for the replies.

I looked into this card, Mouse, and it seems like a great offer. I will most likely be applying for this card in the very near future. I'm not yet a member of PENFED CU, however, I am eligible to become one. Thanks for bringing this card to my attention.
I'm assuming you're a member of PENFED CU so how do you like them? I've been banking with USAA for awhile now (have a Mastercard through them) and their customer service is outstanding. I'm hoping I can expect the same from PENFED CU.
