Credit Tips: NASA Credit Union Visa Credit Card

Post subject: Question About NASA Credit Union Visa.

Probably direct this question to “Joink” whom I see has a 30K credit line with NASA.

I joined today (Had To Become A Member Of Some Space Club)

Transferred some monies via ACH.

Awaiting my Member/Account #

Are these large Lines coming from the Business application or just the standard Visa Platinum?

I see there is a credit line requset block on the business car but not for the Platinum Visa.

I do in fact own a small business along with my “Day Job”.

I’m a sole proprietor.

For the largest line with NASA should I apply for the Business card and request the big $$$ ???

I tried to open a business account with them , Roger Theis their rep , said i couldnt get one due to me living in los angeles, but you can apply for a busines credit card , apply for the personal one first , when you apply request a line of $ 50 000.00 , you either get that or they make you a counter offer…Good luck let me know how it goes. Once you get the personal one , then apply for the $ 50000.00 business credit card …

Thank You SPJOINK’ I’ll see how it goes and post the results….

I actually put enough money in the account to show that I was “Serious”? and may even consider my next vehicle loan through them as the rates look good.

BOA has a “Pre-Approved/Selected/Yada/Yada” American Express card on my online banking offer sheet, but I’m looking to get one card with a big limit and utilize it for business purchases etc.

My score is climbing back up fairly quickly as I have paid off a bunch of CC debt (650ish last month 679 this month). Hoping the good folks at NASA will open the doors and let me in too!!!

Once I get this remaining debt paid off……

I WILL BE LIKE MOUSE AND NO LONGER WORRY ABOUT MY FICO SCORE, UNLESS I’M MORTGAGE HUNTING.

I WILL PAY MY BILLS EACH MONTH AS ALWAYS AND AVOID RUNNING UP REVOLVING DEBT.

WHEN I SEE A GOOD OFFER I WILL TRY AND GET IT TO SAVE ME MONEY.

IF THEY DENY ME IT WILL BE THEIR LOSS.

Sorry but I always wanted to do that…..

Not quite as cool as when Mouse does it though…..
