Credit Tips: Washington Mutual Credit Card Company

I’ve been reading through the post “Post your Applications Results” and I noticed Washington Mutual isn’t one of the highly sought after cards. Is this a sub-prime card? If one already has Amex, Citi, Chase or Discover on their credit profile, will Washington Mutual not be a good candidate to apply for?

I just got WAMU ESPN
Even though I just got DENIED for “PRE-APPROVED” JUNIPER (USAIR)
WAMU/PROVIDIAN is not SUB-PRIME

Hi Mouse!!
I can always depend on your timely and informative messages…tyvm!
This WAMU is a “pre-approved” one too from WAMU ESPN. Did you apply online? Was the credit line what you wanted? I am thinking about applying. I can use an account that’s good until 2008 with no demands to do this or that. Just balance transfer and forget it.
Again thanks Mouse, you’re always helpful to me.
