Anyone else notice any unauthorized charges on their Bank of America Cards? I noticed one online recently I have disputed both online and by calling and now am just awaiting the paperwork. Funny thing is, same thing happenned around last year with this same card and I have no idea how someone could have gotten the number because I have not used the card lately. Any thoughts?

What is the unauthorized charge for? I'll keep a look out.
How did Bank of America handle this in the past? Did the dispute go through without a hitch?

Depending on the nature of the charge - was it a service some company is providing like credit protection or such...
Or is it a charge someone would make for a purchase? You should likely call the creditor to close the account due to the fraudulant charge and open a new account.

I am not familiar with this bank to know if it is an on going problem, but would none the less get the account number changed over in case your account has been compromised.

No, in both cases these were actual purchases that were applied to my account.
In the case of last year's dispute, a major charge purchase showed up on my account from some online toystore. This purchase was several hundred dollars which not only was not mine but put it over the limit so it never should have been applied in the first place. I called BofA. They gave me a temporary credit while the dispute was in progress. After I sent in the paperwork the first time, they sent me an alleged receipt from the merchant which had my billing info on it but the wrong email address. So I had to refile the dispute which I did. I have not heard anything on that since, so I assume it has been permanently taken care of.
So we'll see what happens this time, but I will give Bof A a chance to straighten this out. For all I know it could have been a simple billing error, so I will await until they send me the paperwork and/or a copy of the alledged receipt before I flip out I just find this really interesting that I had to do this on the same card two years in a row. I will update everyone as I have more information. Anyone else have experience with this?

I think BOA chages a 15.00/hr dispute research fee. Either them or Bank One. I tell that to people and they didnt even know about it.
