I was wondering, does anyone do that? I’m beginning to wish I did. Right now I need a lot of liquid moolah (NOT giving any details, Mr. NOSEY!!! ) and it sure would be nice not to have to dig around my apartment looking for those awesome Citibank checks! ARGH!!!!!

At 0% it makes good sense. Also if you have an online savings account giving you 5%, then it makes sense as long as the interest on the BT checks is less than that. It’s always good to have some liquid funds available. I tend to keep the checks handy in a file so that I don’t have to look around for them when I need them.

Oh, stupid, STUPID me! A FILE!!! I could have done that!!!
I could have also pinched pennies and saved more, but let’s not talk about things I’ve done that make me feel foolish (the list would be endless).

By the way, as far as Citibank goes, I believe you can go into the BT section on their site, and enter you info to transfer the funds directly into your checking account at the BT rate, thereby not needing the checks.
