Post subject: Does anyone have the Citi PremierPass card?

I'd like to know whether anyone has the Citibank PremierPass card... if so, your comments/feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

well i have the card. it's good when you fly and you get rewards for how much you spent and rewards for how many miles was the trip.

I got it for the $100 sign on bonus.

Silly me, I still book my tickets using Discover Card because of the "free flight insurance." I don't know if that's just marketting, ie they may be advertising something that happens for every card, anyway, but I just feel more comfortable booking my tickets with them and so I haven't been able to cash in on Citi's point structure.

Can someone give feedback on the flight insurance issue? Would Citi's Premier Pass card do the same? What is this flight insurance, anyway?

I just got a business PP card (which is similar to the personal elite). I also opened it just for the bonus, but hey, I just bought a ticket with it.

Flight insurance could mean two different things. a) life insurance in case it explodes, or b) travel insurance to comp the ticket if a change in plans is forced (a friend used to work at a company that did the latter, it blew).

I see here in my agreement that the business PP card offers explosion insurance, don't see anything about plan-changing insurance.

And remember the big caveat about earning TY points for flights... when redeeming, they need to be "balanced" with an equal number of TY points earned through purchases. I've got multiple TY cards right now, so hopefully I can balance flight points from the PP card with purchase points from my mtvU (haven't tried it yet, I'll probably know within a few weeks).

Thanks for the replies. How are they as far as credit lines on that one compared to other cards/issuers?
