Post subject: Chase PerfectCard offers double rewards
Received a card from Chase that they are paying 2% cash back on non-gasoline purchases on their PerfectCard (formerly known as Freedom Card) for the months of August and September. Gasoline purchases still pay 3% cash back, $15 max per month. Non-gasoline purchases are exempt from the $15 limit.

i think i got the chase flexible rewards visa...which allows me to use all of the rewards or to pick one.. im not too sure.. its confusing..

I called Chase and inquired about this, because I have the Perfect Card (was Freedom) but haven't seen the flyer you reference. I was told this offer was only for new accounts. Are you an existing card holder? Could you provide any additional detail (excluding any personal info of course) from the flyer if you are an existing card holder?
I don't typically use this card but have to make fairly sizeable auto and life insurance premiums this month, so it would be convenient if I'd qualify.

Sorry - no. I was referring to the flyer stevejk is referencing that mentions paying 2% on regular purchases through Aug. & Sept.
