What Credit Card Limit Is Expected for a First Time Applicant

Post subject: What Credit Limit Can I Expect?

I just received instant online approval for a Capital One Business Credit Card.

The confirmation stated that it would be 7-10 business days before the card was sent and the credit limit was established.

Any ideas on what the credit limit will be?

My fico at Equifax is 680.

I can only speak from my experience with Cap one. It's a total cr@p (no pun intended) shoot on what they'll give. From what I've seen, it's always lower than other cards. I haven't ever dealt with them for a business related card. When I had a business, massage therapy, I had to get a personal CC with them. I had decent credit then and was astonished to get 200 CL? My EQ fico then was 640 ish. This was in 2001.

Capital One could give you a credit card with flashing lights and lace on it, but give you a lousy $300 limit, while they are the more liberal in lending, the limits are pure lousy.
Dont be shocked when the card arrives

Don't expect $20,000

It has taken me over 5 or 10 years to amass that much with CAPITAL ONE

It has been combining 2 into 1 and closing 1

Then applying for more
