Ways to Get a High Credit Card Limit

Post subject: Is this the way people who can get easy approve?(high limit)


A friend said:
if u open a bank accont with more than 20000 cash,then you will have a big chance to get a credit card which limit higher than 10000.

he is he got a $10000 citi bank credit card after he opened a citi bank checking account with $20000.

Not sure if that ture or not.just wondering,thank you.

Usually, if you have credit cards with high limits, most likely, new cards that you open will have high limits too. I don't know about citi bank but a friend of mine who opened an account with BoA received BoA visa platinum without applying for it. The guy who opened the account at the branch just sensed big deposits potential and sent the card.

"IF" you have no accounts under $10,000 chances are you will get $10,000 or more on a new credit card account

"IF" they gave me a $1,000 credit card I (PERSONALLY) would dump it if they wouldn't increase it to $10,000

Your bank balances are not part of your credit score.
